Good morning，my dear teachers What is friendship? The answers maybe different. But one thing is clear that friendship is the most importantingredient in the recipe of life. We cannot live without friendship just as wecannot survive without air and water. friendship gives us a feeling of securityand warmth，and friendship encourages us to go ahead all the time.Everyone needsfriends and is eager to get friendship. When we feel happy，we can share ourhappiness with friends. When we feel gloomy，friends will fort us. If we arearrogant，our friends can persuade us，and they can make us confident and bravewhen we are discouraged.
friendship is valuable. It can touch your heart and give you hope. Manypeople are proud of having a good friend. True friendship must be sincere andmust not have conditions. If you help your friends for no reason but simplybecause they are your friends，this means that you regard your friends asyourself. This is true friends.
True friendship should be based on mutual understanding，not on mutualbenefit. Moreover，both must also have similar ideals. If not，their friendshipstill cannot last long. Sometimes，people have good friends when they are youngand studying in school. However，after graduation，when they are working in thesociety，their friendship will soon e to an end.
Can money buy happiness? Different people have different opinions. Somethink yes, while others hold the opposite.
It is true that with enough money one can buy all the things one wants, andlive a life of comfort and security. However, it is equally true that lack ofmoney causes great distress. It is a common view that "money is the root of allevil." The pursuit of money drives many people to cheat and steal. In someplaces there is nothing that cannot be bought with money, resulting in corruptsocieties where everybody is miserable.
So, money does not necessarily mean happiness. It all depends on how it isused. If we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be a stepping-stone tohappiness l Although money cannot buy happiness, it can make happiness possibleif it is employed sensibly.
