Time waits for no one. If it flows away, it will never come to us again. Wecan't take charge of our time but we should know the importance of time andcherish time.
Yesterday has become the history. Nothing we can do to save it. Tomorrow isnot within our reach. We don’t know what will happen tomorrow. So the only thingwe can do is to cherish what we have today and fight for tomorrow. Victory onlybelongs to those who work very hard! Therefore, we should make full use oftoday, fighting for what we want.
I always think there is not enough time. For example, I have just taken athree-day holiday. But when I look back, I just feel that it‘s only one day. There goes a proverb, “Time is money”。 Now I want to say, time is more preciousthan money, because when money is spent, we can earn some more again. However, when time is gone or lost, never will it return.
Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usuallylimited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it‘s a pity that I amalways not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.
So I think, I should get into the good habit of saving time because wastingtime is equal to wasting one‘s life. Do not put off what can be done today tilltomorrow!

So I think,I should get into the good habit of saving time because wastingtime is equal to wasting one‘s life. Do not put off what can be done today tilltomorrow!

A proverb says,"Time is money." But in my opinion, time is even more precious than money. Why? Because when money is spent, we can earn it back. However, when time is gone, it will never return. This is the reason why we must value time.Collected by www.ii63·com
It goes without saying that the time for our study and work is unusually limited. Hence, even an hour is extremely precious. We should make full use of our time to do useful things. As a student,I must make efforts to engage in my study so as to serve our nation and people in the future. But it is a pity that there. are a lot of people who do not know the importance of time. They do not realize that wasting time is equal to wasting a part of their valuable life.collected by II63·com
In a word, we should form the good habit of saving time. Do not put off what can be done today till tomorrow. Laziness will not only bring us failure but also lead us to the road of poverty.
Today, I had a rich and meaningful day. My mother opened a bakery. She wasvery kind-hearted. She promised the children in the orphanage to bake for themtoday. My mother asked me to help. When we baked all the bread, we brought allof them to the orphanage. This was the first time I went to orphanage. I thoughtI couldn’t forget the smile on the children’s face when they saw us. They wereas happy as birds. They accepted the bread just as a gift from the heaven.Compared with them, I felt that I was so happy. Thanks to my parents that I canhave such happy life. I loved them. I will treasure more my life in thefuture.

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on.It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time.Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy highreputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time.Although I have 50-day holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. I had alot of homework to do and I had something necessary to do.

In Chinese Spring Festival Gala the song of where Has the Time Gone became popular. The words are so touching that when people listen to this song many memories will come out. For our parents’ generation they married raised the kids and then watched them become independent how time flies. It is just like that they became parents yesterday and then they become grandparents today. Time flies so fast that they don’t realize they are old. I am so thankful to my parents for they do so many things for me. I want to return their love so I must become more independent and mature. So that my parents will be less worried about me and can go travel to enjoy their lives. For me I want to cherish every moment enjoy my own life and let the time go more slowly.
During the summer vacation, I went back to my hometown with my father andmother. My hometown is in the countryside, where there is a beautiful sceneryand fresh air.
In my hometown, I have many friends, they are all very cute, I like to playgames with them, I have a good time everyday.
One of the most interesting things about summer vacation is fishing. Onthis day, my father and I had nothing to do at home. So I proposed to gofishing, my father promised me. I excitedly look for a fishing net and a smallbucket of fish. We came to the river happily, the water was clear, the fish swamin the water, very lovely. When he got out of the river and went to the shallowwater, he got the net and landed on the shore. To get the fish to surf theInternet, we went up to the river and took small stones and put them into theriver. The little fish was frightened and wandered about, and accidentally goton the net. After a while, there were fish all over the Internet. I was sohappy. My father and I quickly put the net away, carefully taking the fish andputting it into a small bucket of water. The fish happily swam about in thebucket and was very happy. Then we caught a lot of fish, and it was late, and myfather and I went home happily.
This summer holiday, I am very happy and happy every day!
Time flies like an arrow before we realize it .It is known that nothing is more precious than time. The good old proverb "time is money" reminds us that time is valuable. When time goes by it will never return. However it is a pity that some people don't make full use of their time .They spend a lot of time in sleeping chatting playing computer games or other unmeaning matters. . They don't realize that wasting time is actually equal to killing themselves. They always regret not having made great achievements. One of the reasons may be they do not make good use of time. Therefore in order to be successful they should first get into the habit of being on time. It’s a sign of cherishing time. Don't put off what can be done today until tomorrow. Being lazy will eventually lead to failure. Don't wait because you don't know how long it will take when you put off your plan.
The more we are aware of the significance of this famous saying the more benefits we will get in study or job.
hello, dear teachers and fellow students. it is my honor to be here on this beautiful friday morning to share with you my view on “me- time”. in my opinion, finding me-time is important. with the development of the modern society, we students in china have more and more pressure. we have to spare every minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class training courses to improve ourselves. so we are really in lack of me-time which is helpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried.
i do not have as much fun as before and i always miss my childhood. three hours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-time to relax myself. i was once an active basketball player on my school team. but now, basketball, my best friend, i haven’t touched it for almost two months. me- time seems to have become a luxury.
last week, when i heard there was going to be a basketball match between our school and no 1 middle school, i was so excited that i rushed home and told my parents the news. i asked my father, “ dad, may i play basketball after school ? the coach says i am the best guard in our school. if i join the school basketball team, we are sure to beat no 1 middle school this time.” my father showed his dispproval and said, “ of course you can’t . i’m disappointed at you. why do you have such a silly idea? don’t forget to work hard on your schoolwork and piano lessons.” in my parents’ points of view, playing basketball is a waste of time
as far as i’m concerned, the school assignment to the junior school students is too heavy. to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults, we should be allowed to have more me-time for relaxation. the pressure put on our students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally.
my dear teachers, i hope you can assign less homework so we students can enjoy a period of me-time. my dear parents, would you please not follow me and remind me of study all the time? please trust me that i will do my best. my dear friends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything you like? it’s me-time. i do think, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to us students and to the society as a whole. finding me-time will make our life rich, colorful and rewardingthank you for your attention
finding me time is important
hello, my dear friends, it is my great honor to be here and give a speech. today i want to talk about the importance of finding *me time
may i begin my speech by asking you a question? do you often feel tired, stressed or worried? if you do have these problems, you are lack of me-time to relax yourself. psychologist tell us that stress is caused by too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life . in my point of view, if you want to have a healthy mind and body, having your own me-time is very important
let me take myself as an example. i was a carefree and outgoing girl before i entered the junior high school. i had much me-time and did anything i like after class. i kept a lovely pet and whenever i have time i played with her happily. however, the situation is quite different now. when i want to turn on the tv、surf on the internet or go out shopping with my friends, my parents always look at me seriously and say “ don’t forget to spend more time on your lessons. if you don’t cherish every minute of your time, other students will catch up with you.”
so, every day, every moment, i am overwhelmed by all kinds of assignments. i become more and more silent and can’t sleep well before the exams because i’m dressed and worried about my results. i feel so tired and how i want to have me time to relax myself. i long for a period of time that i could walk in a small path in the countryside, sing my favourite song and smell the essence of nature
my dear friends, having your own me-time is important. i firmly believe that achievements depend on our health. if we want to have a more harmonious state to work better, we should find more *me time* and keep off the overwhelm stresses. talks, jokes, games, fresh air or beautiful scenes will be helpful for you. trust me, you’ll be more refreshable and energetic.
thank you for your attention.

We would never waste it if it was money, so why do we waste it when it comes to time?
Those seconds are so much more powerful than dollars because you can always make more dollars, you can’t always make more time.

And as William Shakespeare said,
“Time is very slow for those who want, very fast for those who are scared, very long for those who are sad, and very short for those who celebrate, but for those who love, time is eternal.”
When people find out I write about time management, they assume two things. One is that I'm always on time, and I'm not. I have four small children, and I would like to blame them for my occasional tardiness, but sometimes it's just not their fault. I was once late to my own speech on time management.
We all had to just take a moment together and savor that irony.
The second thing they assume is that I have lots of tips and tricks for saving bits of time here and there.Sometimes I'll hear from magazines that are doing a story along these lines, generally on how to help their readers find an extra hour in the day. And the idea is that we'll shave bits of time off everyday activities, add it up, and we'll have time for the good stuff.
I question the entire premise of this piece, but I'm always interested in hearing what they've come up with before they call me. Some of my favorites:doing errands where you only have to make right-hand turns.
我对这个说法持保留意见,不过我还是愿意听听他们在找我之前有什么想法。我最喜欢的几个是:只完成那些只需要右转的事;
Being extremely judicious in microwave usage: it says three to three-and-a-half minutes on the package, we're totally getting in on the bottom side of that. And my personal favorite, which makes sense on some level, is to DVR your favorite shows so you can fast-forward through the commercials.
That way, you save eight minutes every half hour, so in the course of two hours of watching TV, you find 32 minutes to exercise.
Which is true. You know another way to find 32 minutes to exercise? Don't watch two hours of TV a day, right?
Anyway, the idea is we'll save bits of time here and there, add it up, we will finally get to everything we want to do. But after studying how successful people spend their time and looking at their schedules hour by hour, I think this idea has it completely backward.
We don't build the lives we want by saving time. We build the lives we want, and then time saves itself.
Here's what I mean. I recently did a time diary project looking at 1,001 days in the lives of extremely busy women. They had demanding jobs, sometimes their own businesses, kids to care for, maybe parents to care for, community commitments -- busy, busy people.
I had them keep track of their time for a week so I could add up how much they worked and slept, and I interviewed them about their strategies, for my book.
One of the women whose time log I studied goes out on a Wednesday night for something. She comes home to find that her water heater has broken, and there is now water all over her basement. If you've ever had anything like this happen to you, you know it is a hugely damaging, frightening, sopping mess.
So she's dealing with the immediate aftermath that night, next day she's got plumbers coming in, day after that, professional cleaning crew dealing with the ruined carpet. All this is being recorded on her time log. Winds up taking seven hours of her week. Seven hours. That's like finding an extra hour in the day.
But I'm sure if you had asked her at the start of the week, "Could you find seven hours to train for a triathlon?" "Could you find seven hours to mentor seven worthy people?" I'm sure she would've said what most of us would've said, which is, "No -- can't you see how busy I am?" Yet when she had to find seven hours because there is water all over her basement, she found seven hours.
And what this shows us is that time is highly elastic. We cannot make more time, but time will stretch to accommodate what we choose to put into it.
And so the key to time management is treating our priorities as the equivalent of that broken water heater. To get at this, I like to use language from one of the busiest people I ever interviewed. By busy, I mean she was running a small business with 12 people on the payroll, she had six children in her spare time.
I was getting in touch with her to set up an interview on how she "had it all" -- that phrase. I remember it was a Thursday morning, and she was not available to speak with me. Of course, right?
But the reason she was unavailable to speak with me is that she was out for a hike, because it was a beautiful spring morning, and she wanted to go for a hike. So of course this makes me even more intrigued, and when I finally do catch up with her, she explains it like this. She says, "Listen Laura, everything I do, every minute I spend, is my choice."
And rather than say, "I don't have time to do x, y or z," she'd say, "I don't do x, y or z because it's not a priority." "I don't have time," often means "It's not a priority."
If you think about it, that's really more accurate language. I could tell you I don't have time to dust my blinds, but that's not true. If you offered to pay me $100,000 to dust my blinds, I would get to it pretty quickly.
Since that is not going to happen, I can acknowledge this is not a matter of lacking time; it's that I don't want to do it. Using this language reminds us that time is a choice. And granted, there may be horrible consequences for making different choices, I will give you that.
But we are smart people, and certainly over the long run, we have the power to fill our lives with the things that deserve to be there.
So how do we do that? How do we treat our priorities as the equivalent of that broken water heater?
Well, first we need to figure out what they are. I want to give you two strategies for thinking about this. The first, on the professional side: I'm sure many people coming up to the end of the year are giving or getting annual performance reviews. You look back over your successes over the year, your "opportunities for growth." And this serves its purpose, but I find it's more effective to do this looking forward.
So I want you to pretend it's the end of next year. You're giving yourself a performance review, and it has been an absolutely amazing year for you professionally. What three to five things did you do that made it so amazing? So you can write next year's performance review now.
And you can do this for your personal life, too. I'm sure many of you, like me, come December, get cards that contain these folded up sheets of colored paper, on which is written what is known as the family holiday letter.
Bit of a wretched genre of literature, really, going on about how amazing everyone in the household is,or even more scintillating, how busy everyone in the household is. But these letters serve a purpose, which is that they tell your friends and family what you did in your personal life that mattered to you over the year.
So this year's kind of done, but I want you to pretend it's the end of next year, and it has been an absolutely amazing year for you and the people you care about. What three to five things did you do that made it so amazing? So you can write next year's family holiday letter now. Don't send it.
Please, don't send it. But you can write it. And now, between the performance review and the family holiday letter, we have a list of six to ten goals we can work on in the next year.
And now we need to break these down into doable steps. So maybe you want to write a family history.First, you can read some other family histories, get a sense for the style. Then maybe think about the questions you want to ask your relatives, set up appointments to interview them. Or maybe you want to run a 5K. So you need to find a race and sign up, figure out a training plan, and dig those shoes out of the back of the closet.
And then -- this is key -- we treat our priorities as the equivalent of that broken water heater, by putting them into our schedules first. We do this by thinking through our weeks before we are in them.
I find a really good time to do this is Friday afternoons. Friday afternoon is what an economist might calla "low opportunity cost" time. Most of us are not sitting there on Friday afternoons saying, "I am excited to make progress toward my personal and professional priorities right now."
But we are willing to think about what those should be. So take a little bit of time Friday afternoon, make yourself a three-category priority list: career, relationships, self. Making a three-category list reminds usthat there should be something in all three categories.
Career, we think about; relationships, self -- not so much. But anyway, just a short list, two to three items in each. Then look out over the whole of the next week, and see where you can plan them in.
Where you plan them in is up to you. I know this is going to be more complicated for some people than others. I mean, some people's lives are just harder than others. It is not going to be easy to find time to take that poetry class if you are caring for multiple children on your own. I get that. And I don't want to minimize anyone's struggle. But I do think that the numbers I am about to tell you are empowering.
There are 168 hours in a week. Twenty-four times seven is 168 hours. That is a lot of time. If you are working a full-time job, so 40 hours a week, sleeping eight hours a night, so 56 hours a week -- that leaves 72 hours for other things. That is a lot of time.
You say you're working 50 hours a week, maybe a main job and a side hustle. Well, that leaves 62 hours for other things. You say you're working 60 hours. Well, that leaves 52 hours for other things. You say you're working more than 60 hours. Well, are you sure?
There was once a study comparing people's estimated work weeks with time diaries. They found that people claiming 75-plus-hour work weeks were off by about 25 hours.
You can guess in which direction, right? Anyway, in 168 hours a week, I think we can find time for what matters to you.
If you want to spend more time with your kids, you want to study more for a test you're taking, you want to exercise for three hours and volunteer for two, you can. And that's even if you're working way more than full-time hours.
So we have plenty of time, which is great, because guess what? We don't even need that much time to do amazing things. But when most of us have bits of time, what do we do? Pull out the phone, right?Start deleting emails. Otherwise, we're puttering around the house or watching TV.
But small moments can have great power. You can use your bits of time for bits of joy. Maybe it's choosing to read something wonderful on the bus on the way to work.
I know when I had a job that required two bus rides and a subway ride every morning, I used to go to the library on weekends to get stuff to read. It made the whole experience almost, almost, enjoyable. Breaks at work can be used for meditating or praying. If family dinner is out because of your crazy work schedule, maybe family breakfast could be a good substitute.
It's about looking at the whole of one's time and seeing where the good stuff can go. I truly believe this. There is time. Even if we are busy, we have time for what matters. And when we focus on what matters, we can build the lives we want in the time we've got.
Thank you.
In 1983, at the close of the International Design Conference in Aspen,Steve Jobs buried a time capsule with his friends.
Many attendees contributed various items, like a Rubik's cube, and even aMoody Blues recording.
But because the late Apple co-founder donated the Lisa mouse he'd usedduring his presentation at the conference,it has become known as the "Steve JobsTime Capsule."
During that speech,Jobs seems to have predicted a slew of futuretechnologies, including the iPad,wireless networking, and even Apple's AppStore
I always think there is not enough time. For example I have just taken a three-day holiday. But when I look back I just feel that it’s only one day. There goes a proverb “Time is money”. Now I want to say time is more precious than money because when money is spent we can earn some more again. However when time is gone or lost never will it return.
Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it’s a pity that I am always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.
So I think I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting time is equal to wasting one’s life. Do not put off what can be done today till tomorrow!
I am a middle school student. Though I’m busy with my lessons, my sparetime is still colorful.
After school I usually play sports. I like basketball and football verymuch. Sports help me to keep healthy and study better. I often do some readingin the evening. I think books are our best friends. They give us much knowledgethat we can’t learn at school. So reading books is the best way of spending myspare time.
Sometimes I watch TV or surf the Internet. I find it’s a good way to relaxmyself. At the same time it can also help me open up my eyes to the outsideworld. At the weekends I often help my parents with the housework. I clean thehouse, wash clothes and learn to cook. During the summer or winter vacation, Ihave enough time to do things like volunteering. I help those people who are inneed. It’s a good experience for me. I enjoy myself in my spare time.
How to use time effectively
In our world, there are always existing side by side two kinds of people. On one hand, some people can do well in many things in their everyday life andthey seem to have much time than the others. On the other hand, a majority ofpeople complain about they have too much work to do and has no time to exerciseor even just sit down for a while. This difference comes from the attitudetowards time of a person. So, which way is the most effective way to usetime?
Firstly, the concept of the value of time in the mind of a persondetermines how he spends his time. Among my classmates, there have two studentshave two different opinions of time. One is always in diligent study for hisidea that time is flying and the past time will not come again. Therefore, hehas got good marks and achieved many accomplishments in college. In contrary, the other student does not notice the importance of time so he is occupied withnothing everyday. Obviously, he has attempted and accomplished nothing but livedhis life leisurely and carefree. Thus, a positive attitude towards time is goodfor using time effectively.
Secondly, reasonable arrangements of the time of a person contribute to hisuse of time effectively. Once I was busy with my daily life because I had toprepare for TEM6 of English and did sport besides took classes. However, I couldnot do them all every day. One day I discussed with my teacher about myaffliction, then I accepted his advice to arrange my time to distinguish whichthing was must to do and which was not necessary. A few days later, I did my jobwith skill and ease.
At last, once a person make his mind to do something, then, action. If onetakes account of too many things before to do one thing, he will waste too muchtime, even lost confidence to do it. This is one of the reasons why a largenumber of people can not use their time effectively.
To sum up, in order to use time effectively, one should look on his timepositively, notice the importance of it and arrange it reasonable and actionquickly. As the saying goes “An inch of time is more precious than one inch ofgold”, we should cherish time from mow.
In the morning, we will gather at the plaza and sing the national anthum. After taking the pledge, we will go back to class where lessons will soonbegan.
After a few periods of classes, it’s recess! Recess is the time when we eatand play and go toilet. It’s the only time in school where all students wereenjoying school life. Too bad it’s only half an hour. After recess, we will goback to class where chucks of lessons start again.
Time change me a below the time capsule, you can follow with me,tohave a look my change.
When I was born,I am a happy the neighbours like me,they said:sheis beautiful,cute.
I look have a little fat.(You should be say:scaphium scaphigerum.)Haha.
And six years old,I leave my home with my mother.
I have no idea what will happen, but I know everything will change to mylife in the future.
The time capsule to help us to be the people in warm,to be knowed the godtell us what.
You are so cute, you know, you are unique.
The happy summer vacation finally arrived, for my summer vacation moremeaningful, I now
The following plans are made as follows:
First, safety first, 1, pay attention to traffic safety, do not play on theroad, railway
Play, obey the traffic rules. 2. Ask your parents for permission to goout
Street, don't go out with people you don't know. Pay attention to foodhygiene.
Learn not to relax. 1. Learn calligraphy and art. You can learn a lot bygoing out. Read 30, 000 words of extra-curricular, read 10,000 books, andpractice the math olympiad. Listen to English tapes for a few minutes everymorning.
Three, labor and escape combine summer vacation. 1. Appropriate play, healthy games. 2, don't "read a book", read a book later.
Iv. Summer vacation to supplement "labor class". I help my parents to dohousework
2. Plant some flowers and plants. Through labor practices, we willcultivate our labor skills and enhance our labor
The concept, understand the connotation of labor, deepen the feelings ofworking people, raise the practical ability
Force, cultivate independence, industrious, simple, hard-working and moralcharacter.
We live in a busy society. We may have demanding jobs, children, familiesand many other "important" things that hoover up all of our time, and before weknow it, Christmas is looming once more and we're muttering about another yearjust passing us by.
How many times do you say, "I'll read that book later when I have moretime" or "I'll finish listening to that audio program when I have more time" orsomething very similar?
You may want to create the life of your dreams, but it just seems so verydifficult with so many other things that just have to be dealt with. You may nothave the time to spend an hour a day meditating and an hour a day working onyour personal development and an hour a day working on your business. In fact, for some of us, we're lucky if we can even find time to sleep!
However, the key is not the spend time "doing" personal development work, but to just do it!
My Free Time I have a lot of things to do in my time.Usually I takeexercise after school.I 1ike basketball and volleyball very much.Sports help meto keep healthy and study better.I often watch TV or do some reading in theevening.Sometimes I 1isten to music for a while.I find it a good way to relaxmyself.Of course,I help parents with the housework at the weekends.I helpparents with the housework at the weekends.I clean the house, wash clothes andlearn cooking.Sometimes I go on a field trip with friends. We always have a goodtime!

since i entered college i have felt a great burden off my mind and i justwant to relax. so do my classmates. we enjoy playing cards and are very skillfulat it. we seldom work on our lessons unless there is an examination. then wework under pressure. i know it is not good, but what i lack is self control. matof us know it is a problem, and it is time we did something about it.
as youth, we are in the prime of our life. we should make good use of ourgolden time. the teachers take pains to teach us every day so that we canacquire more knowledge. we should not fail their expectations. i should not restcontent with what i have done. entering cnllege is just a step in the thresholdof the palace of knowledge. the road is long. the modern age needs the welleducated. the future world is highly competitive. if we idle away our time whileyoung wo shall regret it in vain when we are did.
from now on i will concentrate all my energy on my studies as to qualifymyself as a talent in the 21st century. time and tide wait for no man. i shouldvalue my time. what about you, my friend?
My Free Time I have a lot of things to do in my time.Usually I takeexercise after school.I 1ike basketball and volleyball very much.Sports help meto keep healthy and study better.I often watch TV or do some reading in theevening.Sometimes I 1isten to music for a while.I find it a good way to relaxmyself.Of course,I help parents with the housework at the weekends.I helpparents with the housework at the weekends.I clean the house, wash clothes andlearn cooking.Sometimes I go on a field trip with friends. We always have a goodtime!
Time is important to everyone. Lost time will never come back. We must keep this in mind in our daily life and make the best use of our time. Only in this way can we succeed in life. How can we make full use of our time? First of all, we'd better make a plan. We should arrange our study, work and rest.
We can know what we should do next so that we can save as much time as possible when we study or work, we should put our hearts into it. We should spend every minute on it.After a period of time's study and work we can take a good rest. I think that all of us should emphasize using our time effectively.
maybe you always ask "how can i get more and more time?" now, i can tellyou a story.once upon a time, there were many people in a village which named"gold time". and there was an old man in the village.villagers called him "timeman". because he could "move"time to a lot of places.
sometimes he "moved" it to the top of the desk. sometimes he "moved" it tothe playground. there were many people on the playground. some did exercises.some played football. and he "moved" it to people's home. they were having abirthday party. and the other people were cooking.in spite of this, many peoplestill said,"i haven't got enough time! time man, give me enough time!" time manwas very
angry. he couldn't bear it. then, he killed himself. it was 12:00 p.m. sonow we have 24 hours a day.if you think time is not enough. you must hurry up todo every thing quickly. and don't waste time. if you can do every thing well, ithink you must be best.do you know? mr. lu said, "we only can get 24 hours oneday. it brings somebody gold. and it also gives somebody lazy and unhappy.i onlywant tell you,"don't waste time."
I am a senior school student。 Now,I am in grade two。 To be honest,I'm notagood child or student。 I aiways think studying is very boring 。 And I 'm alsolazy in my subjects。 But on the other hand,I never want to be a girl who has noknowledge for some things。Believe it or not, I 'm looking forward to being adiplomat of elact。 So I know I can not waste m y time to do something awful andterrible。。And frow now on ,I'll do what Ican to learn much better! I am so intoEnglish ,I hope you are the same as me 。

my brother-in-law opened the bottom drawer of my sisters bureau and lifted out a tissue-wrapped package. this, he said, is not a slip. this is lingerie. he discarded the tissue and handed me the slip.
it was exquisite, silk, handmade and trimmed with a cobweb of lace. the price tag with an astronomical figure on it was still attached.
jan bought this the first time we went to new york, at least 8 or 9 years ago. she never wore it. she was saving it for a special occasion.
well, i guess this is the occasion.
he took the slip from me and put it on the bed, with the other clothes we were taking to the mortician. his hands lingered on the soft material for a moment, then he slammed the drawer shut and turned to me, dont ever save anything for a special occasion. every day you re alive is a special occasion.
i remembered those words through the funeral and the days that followed when i helped him and my niece attend to all the sad chores that follow an unexpected death. i thought about them on the plane returning to california from the midwestern town where my sisters family lives. i thought about all the things that she hadnt seen or heard or done. i thought about the things that she had done without realizing that they were special.
im still thinking about his words, and theyve changed the weeds in the garden. im spending more time with my family and friends and less time in committee meetings. whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experience to savour, not endure. im trying to recognize these moment now and cherish them.
im not saving anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special. event such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, the first camellia blossom… i wear my good blazer to the market if i feel like it. my theory is if i look prosperous, i can shell out $28. 49 for one small bag of groceries without wincing. im not saving my good perfume for special parties; clerks in hardware stores and tellers in banks have noses that function as well as my party going friends.
someday and one of these days are losing their grip on my vocabulary. if its worth seeing or hearing or doing, i want to see and hear and do it now. im not sure what my sister wouldve done had she know that she wouldnt be here for the tomorrow we all take for granted.
i think she would have called family members and a few close friends. she might have called a few former friends to apologize, and mend fences for past squabbles. i like to think she would have gone out for a chinese dinner, her favorite food. im guessing. ill never know.
its those little things left undone that would make me angry if i knew that my hours were limited. angry because i put off seeing good friends whom i was going to get in touch with someday. angry because i hadnt written certain letters that i intended to write one of these days. angry and sorry that i didnt tell my husband and daughter often enough how much i truly love them.
im trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives. and every morning when i open my eyes, i tell myself that every day, every minute, every breath truly, is... a gift from god.
